On St. Patrick’s Day this year Andy and I decided to forgo the usual Guinness and Jameson in the name of childhood cancer.
St. Baldrick’s is an international event that promotes fund raising for child cancer research. We volunteered at the largest local event, which took place at the Reno Livestock Events Center. About 300 people raised money for St. Baldrick’s to get their heads shaved, including about 30 women.
