The Bachelorette

My friend Nate is getting married on August 1st so the weekend of June 6-7 Afton, Jessi and I surprised her with a bachelorette party. We just told her to that is was going to be between 78-82 degrees and to bring her driver’s license. The first day was pretty mellow. We drove to Sacramento, met up with Jessi (who came all the way from Bend, OR) walked around downtown, ate dinner and had drinks at a local brewery. I will spare you some of the silly details.

The next day we got up and Nate was convinced that we were going home (at least that’s what she said), but we headed over to Skydive Sacramento. Apparently this is something that she has always wanted to do. She actually mentioned it at dinner the previous night, but Afton played it off nicely. So at about 4pm on Sunday Afton and Nate went up 13,000 feet and jumped out of a perfectly good plane. I’m glad Nate got to do something she has always wanted to do for her bachelorette party. She seemed pretty un-phased by the whole process. I would have been freaking out, but of course I hate heights. Here are some picture and a video of the jump!
