I love Keva juice! I have been hooked ever since they opened their first store in Reno on Kietzke and Virginia. Over the years I have tasted almost every flavor and narrowed it down to a few favorites: Keva Kolada, Bananarama and Mello Mango. I also really like the wheatgrass shots, same nutritional value and 2.5 pounds of vegetables! (Or at least that’s what they say.)

Since moving to the 89503 I have been going to the N. McCarran location. This has been fine until recently. Andy and I went in there about three weeks ago, a half hour before closing, and the wheatgrass machine was already disassembled. This was understandable since is was only half an hour. We then asked for the frozen yogurt and the machine wasn’t working because they forgot to refill it. Last Sunday we wanted to give them a second chance so we went in an hour and a half before closing and even at this time the wheat grass machine had been disassembled. Again, we decided to ordered the frozen yogurt. The fresh fruit, as advertised, was actually frozen. We were very disappointed.

A few days later I received an email from Keva advertising their new smoothie flavor. This triggered me to fill out an online survey, which was quick and consisted of 5 questions. I didn’t actually expect to hear anything back. I felt as if this was just an ‘FYI’ for the company.

So about 2 hours after I completed the online survey I received two emails. One from the Kietzke and Virginia location mentioning that they are owned by different owners and has all of the fresh yogurt toppings. They appreciated my feedback and wanted to make this right.

The other email was from the owner of the N. McCarran location. She was personally apologizing for the service I received and informed me that it is against policy to clean the wheatgrass machine before closing. She said I was a valued customer and she cannot tell me how much my business means.

I was shocked by the quick response I received and very impressed with how concerned they were with my recent visits. I look forward to many more trips to Keva!
