I have been a board member for the AMA (American Marketing Association) for the past three years.

Cellular Field from the view of a hotdog

This year I had the opportunity to fly to Chicago to learn more about the organization and the national chapters who were involved.

The three day seminar didn’t leave much room to see the town, but I was able to sneak out to the White Sox game to check out Cellular field. The Orioles ended up winning, but I did get a hot dog. Also, as a side note, the local brew, Goose Island, is a good one.

Also, on my way back to the Westin O’Hare, I saw this ad that made me laugh.

Sushi

The next day I went for a nice run around the neighborhood, and saw exactly what I hoped – brick houses with their American flag hanging out. Even a beaver jumped out of nowhere to scare the living bajesus out of me. I don’t know why, but that felt like Chicago to me.
