Shit My Dad Says

I actually bought this book for my dad for Christmas. And Bridget had the same idea, but for me.  This was a quick read and had an interesting story. The author described life growing up with a man who couldn’t care less about what people thought of him, and had a colorful way of saying it. Either way, here are of my favorite quotes:

“I don’t give a shit how it happened, the window is broken… Wait, why is there syrup everywhere? Okay, you know what? Now I give a shit how it happened. Let’s hear it.”

“I just want silence… Jesus, it doesn’t mean I don’t like you. It just means right now, I like silence more.”

On Bob Saget: “Remember that face. That’s the face of a man who hates himself.”

“You have to do something you love… Bullshit, you clearly have not heard this speech before because you’re working at Mervyn’s.”

On Practicing: “Nobody likes practice, but what’s worse: practicing or sucking at something? Oh give me a fucking break, practicing is not worse than sucking”
